Privacy

H1 Browser is made by Harsh1288. This page says plainly what the browser does with your information.

Without an account

You can use H1 without signing in. Your history, bookmarks, saved passwords and settings stay on your computer. Saved passwords are encrypted there.

H1 Sync (optional account)

If you create an H1 Sync account, your bookmarks, history and a few settings (search engine, ad blocking, secure connections, startup) are stored on the H1 Sync server at harsh1288.com so they appear on your other computers. Your saved website passwords are encrypted on your computer before they are sent; the server stores only the encrypted form and cannot read them. Your account password itself is never sent to the server.

We store your email address to sign you in and to send you 6-digit codes (to confirm the address and to reset a forgotten password). We do not send any other email and do not share your address.

You can delete your account at any time in Menu → H1 Sync → Account. This removes everything synced from the server.

If you sign in to an H1 Hub

An H1 Hub is H1's own private server on a computer you control. If you sign in to one, your history, bookmarks and passwords are also kept there, encrypted where they are passwords.

What H1 sends

Private tabs

When you close the last private tab, H1 deletes the cookies, site data, cache and permissions from private tabs. Websites, your network and your internet provider can still see what you visit.

Your choices

Clear your history, cookies and cache at any time in Settings → Clear browsing data. Export or delete saved passwords and bookmarks from their pages. Uninstalling H1 keeps your data unless you choose to remove it.
